Toptech MultiLoad II & Krohne OPTIMASS Solution

The rules of the game have been changed by the recent partnership of the Liquid Controls Group, Toptech MultiLoad II and the Krohne OPTIMASS. The direct serial interface to the Krohne OPTIMASS provides greater flexibility of loading and unloading systems.

In the past, connecting a mass meter to a preset required a costly pulse converter. In addition, the preset was required to have enough dedicated high-speed pulse counter inputs to support the number of meters in the system. These rules no longer apply when combining the OPTIMASS to the Toptech MultiLoad II. The direct communication via Modbus removes the need for the pulse converter and the high-speed pulse counters, while allowing multi-dropped meters all controlled by one device.
